Jenny and Tim Baillis were shocked and excited when they found out they were pregnant. They were even more excited when they were told it was a boy that they decided to name Ivan (gift from God).
At the 19 week ultrasound Ivan was diagnosed with Spina Bifida which they would soon find out would require fetal surgery in hopes to alleviate pressure on baby Ivan’s developing brain. After finding out this was not covered in their home state they were determined to find a place that would help their unborn child. Through extensive research and much sacrifice they found a place that will perform the surgery!!
This Go Fund Me account was set up in hopes that we can shoulder some of the financial burden for this well deserving family. The money will go to assist the family with out-of-pocket medical expenses, travel, child-care and hotel costs. Jenny will be required to stay close to the hospital leaving her other 3 children requiring child-care.
