Jenny WOD 2025- Benefiting Paul Wagner's Cancer Battle

Join us for the 7th annual Jenny WOD at Southern Columbus Crossfit on Saturday, October 25th!

Jenny Malec was a friend to all and true inspiration. She battled courageously against Appendiceal Cancer for many years, all while coming into the gym and giving her best effort, often showing many of us up! Her legacy lives on in her friends and family. We continue to perform the the "Jenny" hero WOD each year in honor of our brave friend. Jenny wrote this workout with all of her favorite movement in crossfit.

This year, we will have a beneficiary for our fundraising efforts. Jenny's dear friend, Paul Wagner, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. He recently started chemotherapy treatments at The Texas Oncology Center in Allen, Texas and will continue these treatments for the next 6 months. He was a wonderful friend and support to Jenny during her battle with cancer, and we are certain that she would be honored to help Paul in his battle.

We will have a GoFundMe set up for Paul, along with silent auction with items you can bid on day-of the event. All proceeds will go directly to Paul to help with his expenses during treatment.
