Jenny was admitted to the hospital on August 25 with a dissected artery. While blood thinners and medication will keep a stroke at bay as the artery heals, the medical bills will be mountainous. Childcare, transportation, and assistance at home will add to the financial burden.

Jenny has also dealt for several years with significant chronic pain that remains a mystery to doctors, and Travis experienced a layoff and job change this summer.
