Jen was diagnosed with breast cancer…invasive ductal carcinoma. We are still waiting on PET scan and MRI results to complete the staging. Jen has a more rare form of cancer, HER2 positive, estrogen and progesterone receptor negative. She will undergo a total of 18 months of chemo and multiple surgeries. During this time, she is unable to work. Additionally, she does not have any disability coverage or paid time off. Jen is a self-employed, single mom to 3 boys. The crazy part is she doesn’t qualify for any type of assistance because she isn’t “under insured”…whatever that means. Donations will help to cover living expenses and medical bills so Jen can focus all her energy to healing. We are so grateful for all the love and support she has been given thus far!
