So basically in a nutshell, Jenny was diagnosed with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver several years ago, apparently its a genetic disease but it was caught early and monitored. Fast-forward to present, she had gotten to the point that she needed to start the work up for the transplant list. Part of the work up is a CT scan, during the scan they found a few swollen lymph nodes in her abdomen. A week later they do a biopsy, a week after that we get the results that it is stage 4 T-cell lymphoma. Chemo began on Feb 22nd, 5 treatments over five months. Along with fluid being removed from her abdomen twice a week. From what we have told by her team of doctors, the cancer has spread to her already damaged liver. The cancer disqualifies her from the transplant list. The cancer has to be gotten under control in order for her to begin the transplant workup again. But the transplant group prefers that a recipient be cancer free for 2 to 3 years. Chemo has been stopped temporarily due to her becoming to weak physically.Oh along with all that she has been dealing with a GI bleed that comes and goes, the last bleed required ems transport and 2 punts blood 2 pints plasma to get her stable and she has been in the ICU since.
They are needing some help with medical stuff. If you can't help please send up some Prayers. Thank you
