A little about Jenny for those who may be visiting and do not know her personally:

Jenny Klement is a compassionate and dedicated quality care specialist at Flowers Hospital, who has spent over 31 years providing care and comfort to countless patients in need as an RN. Married for over 28 years to her loving husband, Sam, and a devoted mother of two children, Anna and Cannon. She is a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She has always been the pillar of strength for her family and community. Jenny is known for her sweet smile and giving spirit, always giving more to others around her than herself. She never shows up empty handed, always bringing a thoughtful gift or reminder of how much she loves others. Over her career, Jenny worked as a Home Health and Hospice nurse for other hospitals. Jenny has an established career touching many of those around her during some of the most difficult times of their lives.

In addition to her important role as a nurse, Jenny and her husband, Sam, also co-own and operate Guthrie’s Chicken in Dothan, a beloved local eatery known for its delicious food and warm hospitality. Jenny has also assisted Guthrie’s Chicken with getting even more involved within their community. Most recently, she helped accomplish their annual, “Chicken our List Toy Drive”. This provided funds and toys to the Exchange Center in Dothan to help women and children in need ensuring many had a wonderful Christmas. Jenny loves her Guthrie's extended family and truly is like a mother to all. In her spare time, Jenny loves to play tennis and has developed a close-knit friendship with the people she's played with over the years. Her team has even won an Alabama state championship. Her other hobby includes the love of gardening and beautiful flowers. She takes special pride each season with holiday decor and fresh flowers weekly on each table at Guthrie’s, always going above and beyond.

Despite their busy schedules, they have always managed to balance work and family life with grace and resilience.

Recently, Jenny received devastating news after almost two weeks of hospitalization – she has been diagnosed with CNS lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer affecting the central nervous system. This unexpected diagnosis has turned her world upside down, as she now faces a challenging journey ahead, filled with intensive treatments and medical expenses. Jenny is currently in the ICU at UAB in Birmingham receiving her first round of chemotherapy.

As Jenny focuses on her fight against CNS lymphoma, she needs our support now more than ever. The financial burden of medical bills, ongoing treatments, travel costs, and other related expenses can be overwhelming, especially for a family already stretched thin by the demands of daily life.

By contributing to this, you can make a difference in Jenny's life and help alleviate some of the financial stress during this difficult time. Your generosity will provide much-needed support as she navigates through her treatment journey, allowing her to focus on what truly matters – her health and her family.

As we all know, Jenny would never ask for any help. Instead, she would rather help others. So let’s come together as a community to show Jenny and her family the love, compassion, and support they deserve. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful impact on their lives and bring them one step closer to healing and recovery.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity, and for standing by Jenny during this challenging time. Together, we can make a difference and help her overcome this obstacle with strength, courage, and hope.
