After suffering from strokes since her 20s, doctors finally found the probable cause of them after Jenny suffered a massive stroke about half a year ago. They discovered a hole in her heart, and ordered her to have surgery for it. Unfortunately, by the time the doctors set up an appointment for the surgery, she suffered another stroke (February 7, 2019).

The stroke affected the part of Jenny's brain that processes vision, and she now has difficulty seeing. Because of this, she is unable to fully care for herself without assistance.

Jenny has been the main bread winner of the home for several years since her husband, Joe Kasa, suffered a massive stroke that left him unsuitable for work. Because of this, the family is in need of financial support since Jenny is currently not able to work due to her impaired vision. It is our hope and prayer that one day the Lord will restore Jenny's sight and that she may be able to resume her past duties, but until then she is working with therapists to try to train her brain to process vision again.
