Have you ever wanted to invest in my face?

For those who do not know, I am a MtF trans woman who has been out for about 13 years. For the past eight or so years, my goal has been to get FFS in order to counter the greatest source of my dysphoria. My face.

Recently, I had my consult for FFS, and things all seem well and good! Until my insurance let me know that it is dropping me. The cost to get new insurance that would cover my surgery is 1400 for a year, but I might be able to get it pro rated.

Anyone who knows me knows how hard it is for me to actually ask for help, especially financially. However, this is a dream that has been so close, then shot down multiple times over the years, and I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. If somehow we go over the goal, I guess anything extra would just help my family, since I'd be missing work for the surgery.
