When I first met Jenny, I was introduced to a person who, despite her own struggles, would fiercely love anyone through theirs. She had a smile that could light up a dark room. I know that sounds a bit cliche, but ask anyone who knew her, and they will say the same. It didn't matter what Jenny was going through, she was always concerned about the welfare of others. Truth be told, you don't find many people like her these days. Our relationship wasn't an easy one; however, she taught me so much without ever knowing it. She showed me how to really show up for someone without having any expectations of what I will get in return. My relationship with her taught me how to be patient and kind to people I'd just met. I learned how to use my words in a kind yet firm way. Jenny showed me the beauty of setting aside my own needs to be there for someone else. Most of all, she taught me that loving someone doesn't require a relationship dating back many years. I had the incredible opportunity to get to know Jenny on a level I never knew was possible.

Jenny was only 30 years old when she passed away on June 10th, 2020. She leaves behind her parents, Sherry and David, as well as her stepmother Louann. Her siblings are Jesse, Lori, Timothy, Taylor, and Tyler. Jaxson, Jenny's sweet puppy, was never far from her side. Though her passing freed her from physical pain, it has left a void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. Jenny will surely be missed by many, and I will always be thankful for the time I had with her. I'll carry her, and the things I've learned from her, in my heart forever.

Next to her, when she passed, was her loving and dedicated mother, Sherry. Sherry is now tasked with something no mother should ever have to do; bury her child. There are no words or actions that will ease the pain Sherry and the family feel. However, with this fundraiser, I hope to alleviate some of the financial burdens for Jenny's family.
