Jenny Audette Youth Eastside Services Fundraiser

As you know, my sister Jenny Audette passed away on April 12, 2022 after years of struggling with health issues arising from complications of alcohol and drug use.

Hiding this or not talking about it can’t and won’t help anyone in her memory. For someone like her - straight A student, funny, witty, and liked by everyone to end up passing at a Tukwila motel surrounded by addicts is no way for anyone to go.

The police found crystal meth and fentanyl in her room. She weighed less than 90 lbs. Her purse was emptied, and I have nothing left of my sister but a cheap bracelet and a few receipts where she drew cash out of an ATM.

We are not planning a service or any formalities at this time. It is a time for her family to recall all the good times, and to flush the struggles. In place of a service, this fundraiser should serve to offer you an opportunity to give in her honor, and allow her memory to help others.

I’m sorry to over-share her story, but I’m hopeful you knew her or know me well enough to know there has to be something positive and productive come of this story, and giving the details only helps you understand just how dark it got.
