Jenn’s Leukemia Battle

In Feb of 2023, Jenn’s husband Trey was admitted to Northside with pancreatitis. He spent 2 weeks in ICU and another 4 weeks in the hospital. He was in and out of the hospital until July while his pancreatitis was brought under control. During that time he lost his job and after 4 months obtained a new one.

On Labor Day, Jennifer went to the ER with what was believed to be exhaustion from anemia. Within 2 hours she was told she had some form of blood cancer. That blood cancer turned out to be acute myeloid leukemia (AML). By Friday she was transferred to Northside Hospital Atlanta’s BMT unit and started chemo on Saturday. She went on to have a second round of chemo as an outpatient at ‘clinic’.

On Oct 6 she had her second bone marrow biopsy.

On 12/08 she had 3 days of highly intensive chemo followed by 4 days of total body radiation. On 12/15 she was admitted to the hospital to undergo a stem cell transplant (sister donor) . She expected to stay a minimum of 5 days, and we are currently at Day +20. If she meets some milestones she will be released on Day +21. What she has endured as the chemo and radiation work their way thru and out of her body and the new stem cells engraft truly is a testament to the Warrior Princess she is. ���

Jenn is an amazing mom to Ella, Landon, Stella and Lyla and wife of Trey. She is beloved by her workplace, DentFirst. Her parents and siblings have rallied around her from Christi temporarily relocating to Atlanta, Marissa with donating stem cells, brother PJ and wife sending daily texts and videos and father Paul picking up all the slack so mom can help Trey care for Jenn.

Her community has come out by the dozens to donate platelets, meals and she is the Honored Hero of a local Team in Training team who have raised over $100k for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They run in her honor this weekend at Disney. ����

Even with insurance the medical costs the Previto family are facing are astronomical.
