Update: MOM RECEIVED HER MATCH! things haven’t been entirely smooth sailing and we are again reaching out to the community for support in uncovered medical expenses. Please help if you can

Hello, we're sisters Kirsten and Kaleigh. Our mom, Jennifer, is currently in end-stage renal failure. We're hoping this fund will not only raise awareness and find a potential live kidney donor but also raise money to help support her during a time where she is unable to work and support herself.

At 26 years old, Jenn was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease. PKD is a genetic disorder for which there is no known cure and affects several members of her family.

In the last year, Jenn's disease has progressed significantly. In June of 2022, she was placed on the Baystate Hospital transplant list, and in January 2023, she began dialysis treatment 3 days a week, for 4 hours at a time. As you can imagine, this has been an unbelievably trying time for Jenn and her family.

Our mom has been unable to work since September in preparation for dialysis, mostly due to complications with the dialysis access site (Arteriovenous fistula), and her employer's short-term disability is coming to an end. On top of regular monthly expenses, the uncovered medical bills, transportation to and from dialysis and doctors' appointments- it's simply becoming overwhelming. Any help you can extend at this time means so much to all of us.
