Jenn's fight against Leukemia

Hello everyone! My name is Jadyn Saldivar, and I am raising money for my mother, Jennifer Saldivar, who was recently diagnosed with a form of terminal cancer called Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia (CLL).

Prior to this diagnosis, Jenn has battled cancer for the past nine years, fighting four different forms and each time coming out on the other side.

With this new diagnosis, Leukemia has invaded her blood, and at this time, there is no cure. Doctors state that the life expectancy can depend on person to person, but ultimately CLL will eventually begin to shut down my mother’s organs. My mother has started to take certain steps to slow down this progression, taking non-aggressive chemotherapy, staying active, and living a healthy lifestyle, but with every new medication, my mother grows more tired. I am starting this gofundme to ultimately ask for help in funding my mother’s medication and treatment to help take the burden off of her. My family and I want her focus to be on the fight, rather than the financials of it all. Cancer is stupid, and it’s expensive, but with every new pill she has to take (and she has to take many,) we are given a little more time with her.

A little bit about Jenn: Jenn is a mother of four, Jimmie (23), Jadyn (20), Jordan (14), and Jaina (7). Outside of being a wonderful mom, Jenn is a loving partner to my stepdad David and an even more-so amazing friend. Anyone who knows her can tell you just how loyal and funny my mother is. Even throughout her history of cancer, my mother always moved mountains for anyone around her and is a bright light in even the darkest rooms. She is a fighter and truly the strongest person I know. Which is why in the hardest time of her life, I am choosing to reach out for everyone’s help, despite her ever asking. I ask for any amount of donation, it will all go directly into funding her medications and possible bone marrow transplant that can give her more time with our family and the world. I am grateful for anything that is given and cannot truly express how appreciative we are that you are choosing to help Jenn and my family at this time.
