Jenni’s Memorial Garden

Jenni Louise Morrison was born on 5/25/24 via emergency C section. Jenni lost a lot of blood and was born with some extensive and catastrophic brain damage due to a freak accident with the placenta. Despite her traumatic birth, she was absolutely perfect in our eyes. There was no rhyme or reasoning behind this tragedy. Everything was perfect until it wasn’t. It feels so unfair that our daughter will never be able to grow up. We had so many plans.

She was transferred to children’s hospital a week after she was born so we could begin palliative care. Jenni passed away on 6/10/24 at 12:03 while the sun was shining. She was held, loved, comfortable, and at peace. We know her grandma Jenni walked her in through the gates of heaven. We are absolutely heartbroken beyond belief. We are both shattered in ways I cannot begin to describe. Losing a child is not something any parent should ever have to go through. But I know God’s reason for things is sometimes not meant to be known. We feel so incredibly lucky that Jenni chose us to be her parents.

This memorial fund is created with the hopes of being able to build Jenni the most beautiful garden at our new house, where she will be laid to eternal rest. Anything beyond will go towards her medical bills.

Jenni has touched so many lives. To know that she has had such an impact is one of the most heartwarming things we could ever ask for as parents. Thank you to everyone who has messaged, called, prayed, and kept Jenni in your thoughts. We are eternally grateful. We love you all so very much.
