“When you die, that doesn’t mean you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live and in the manner in which you live. So live. Live. Fight like hell.” - Stuart Scott

Jennifer Wood was diagnosed with Stage 4 malignant melanoma on January 21, 2012. In the past two years, she has had multiple sugeries and received numerous reports of the cancer spreading throughout her organs. Just three weeks ago, she slipped into renal failure. Even then, Jennifer continued her long, hard fight and was able to see her daughter get married this past Valentine's Day. She finally won her battle with cancer Thursday, February 18, 2015.
Jennifer was diagnosed with M.S. 15 years ago; therefore, life insurance considers her uninsurable. We have set up this fund to help the Wood/Rush family with her memorial.
Any contributions will help pay for Jennifer's final resting place now that she is officially pain free.
