Jennifer's Tree & Bench

I'm Valerie and I'd like to help raise funds for a Tree to be planted by the beach in "The Beaches" area of Toronto in memory of my aunt, Jennifer Cline. If we can gather enough funds a bench will be installed as well. Both are fitting as a tribute to someone who embodied The Beach community and the beach as much as she did.
Jennifer passed away this August of Brain Cancer. She lived 6 months after she was diagnosed and that was far too soon.
Jennifer was a lifelong artist and spent half of her creative life as an "Artist In Residence" of sorts, for The Beach community of Toronto. In many ways, Jennifer was the beach and I'll never think of that community without thinking of her.
Please join me and others in raising funds towards both a tree and bench for Jennifer in memory and gratitude for her commitment to, and love of The Beach community and it's people.
The tree will stand beautifully and represent the huge Willow's she loved so much and immortalized in many paintings. A bench can offer a place to sit and appreciate the beautiful lake Jennifer loved and also painted a great many times.
The Beach community was Jennifer's heart and soul.
She painted its shops, homes, and gardens. She visited people who worked in the shops and ate in the restaurants. She loved the live Jazz music and often sketched the musicians and she knew almost everyone by name.
Jennifer donated countless pieces of art for local causes and was always there to support the community she loved dearly.
Jennifer would be so thrilled by this and I believe it will bring so much joy to so many in this time of sadness.
I am eternally thankful for all donations to this cause. Everyone who donates can see the results when we have them and I'll be sure to announce further details!
