It is with deep sorrow to inform everyone that. on May 1st 2016 Jennifer lost her battle with Colon Cancer. It was a tough fight. One that exhausted her with doctors, tests and procedures. She is now out of pain and in God's Glory.
Since January 2015 Jenn has been battling colon cancer. Unfortunately, the current batch of drugs has run its course.
In October 2015 she went to L.A. for surgery to have her colon removed, and to begin more agressive treatment directly into the liver where the cancer metasticized to. Unfortunately, we did not get the results we were looking for.
As most people know, we are the ones used to helping others. It is very humbling to be in a position to ask for help. As most of you know, Jenn was devoted to her family, especially the kids. She wanted every opportunity for them, and for them to be able to chase their dreams and goals, from college to them being able to someday have families of their own. We never wanted to rely on others. Unfortunately, the task of taking care of end of life needs, helping the kids through college, and providing them some new memories as a family of 3 instead of 4, is a little harder than we expected, especially on a single income.
It is hard to ask, but whatever help is provided is greatly appreciated. Thank you for being a part of our lives and for helping Jenn's legacy live on. God Bless.
