Dear Friends of Jennifer,
I started this campain to help Jennifer cover her medical expenses and lost wages. Her recovery time is expected to be 4-6 weeks, and this fund will help her focus on healing without the stress of finances. Below is a note from Jen:
"On January 17th, I was getting out of a bath and without warning, my chest seized up on me.  I was short of breath and intuitively I knew something was wrong. I’m a 44 year old woman, I have exercised my whole life, eat healthy (healthy like 90% vegan) I’m a yoga instructor, a therapist and feel my life’s purpose has been to help others.  I was filled with the fear of not knowing I’d get through, because there’s a history of heart disease in my family and regardless of physical wellness, genetics do not discriminate.  After several hours at one hospital, and being air-evacuated to another in Pheonix, I learned I had an aortic aneurism pressing up against the wall of my esophagus, which was making it hard for me to breathe.  Thank God, because that saved my life.  After 7 hours of surgery, I remained asleep for another 10. The following 72 hrs were nothing short of a miracle, I was up and walking and listening to the outpour of love that was being sent my way, which was truly the most amazing part.  My girlfriends, my guy friends, my colleagues, and my family…I have never felt so much love in my life.  I still feel it and hope you all know how much I love you back.  So although this journey isn’t over, and my broken heart has been repaired, there is so much more to come and I welcome it all with a new and tender heart."
