Bright Lights Big City Is a Beautiful Morgan gelding that has been dealt a bad hand and I want to save him and bring Billy home!
"Billy" Aka Bright Lights Big City was the last Morgan horse Jennifer Chowning started. He was 5 when she passed away, He was suppose to be a western pleasure horse.
He's been through Hell and back and deserves to be loved. No horse deserves the abuse and trials he has been through. He needs to learn to trust humans again, and decompress.
I want to help save Billy and bring Billy home to Jack Chowning, Jennifers father. Jack and I will provide the safe forever landing for Billy, the last horse started by our legendary Jennifer .
In September of 2020 I went out and test rode Billy, I have first hand seen what he is and how he is. We do have a real grasp on the situation.
Billy is at the Eugene Horse auction. There is rumor of a reserve of 8K, which is why we set the Go fund me to that number. This could be true or false , still looking into it.
He's being marketed as a fancy show horse (that's not been shown) and that anyone can ride, which is far from the truth. If Billy doesn't land with someone who is educated it could be a very dangerous situation for all involved. We want to stop this cycle and bring him home . Show him love and TLC. Anything and everything adds up and helps. If you have any questions or concerns , I am happy to answer them .
Furthermore, if we raise money and fail to save him I will refund the money if possible , and whatever couldn't be refunded will be donated to Forever Morgans to help save other Morgans in need.
