My name is Jennifer and this is for sure a last resort for us. I'm very willing to work for anyone who might need any painting, house cleaning, construction clean up, organizing, or babysitting! i do have my 8 year old with very limited child care but i am more than willing to work! Around 2 years ago we had a nightmare consume us and had to leave everything behind and walk away with just a suitcase. It's literally been the roughest 2 years of my life! My mother and father came and got my youngest daughter after we had been in hotels for 2 months hiding. They saved us! But getting back on my feet has proven to be impossible especially with no car. I have been homeless and without a car for about a year and a half now. My parents are too old and tired to continue to take care of their 8 year old granddaughter. They have financially and physically supported my daughter but had to finally bring her back and now we are right back where this all started. I have always held a job and had a car and have always been able to raise my children with not much help. I really hate to have to ask for help again but I know without any doubt that once I get a vehicle and into a home we will more than survive. I have been in a non stop state of stress and worry since the summer of 2023. I have gone through the legal avenues to put the man who made our nightmare possible in jail and I have signed up for food assistance and with the help of this fundraiser I'm praying we will struggle a bit less.
