I'm Jennifer, and my husband and I have 3 amazing boys. Back in early April, I left work to go to the ER with symptoms of a stroke. After many tests, it was determined that I was just dealing with major migraines. I have been to my doctor a dozen times, and they have conducted a dozen tests, as I waited for a neurology appointment. I am finally scheduled to see a neurologist next week.
I have been out of work this entire time as I struggle with migraines, or headaches, daily. When the headaches get bad, it causes me to slur my speech, stumble, and stutter. I am unable to work in this condition, not knowing when I'll be okay and when not. James has also become my driver as I'm not comfortable getting behind a wheel. It may seem like "it's just headaches" - but it is so much more and truly affects my ability to function. Obviously, diagnoses of strokes, cancer, etc., have been ruled out.
So in the meantime, while medical bills continue to bury us, our income (which is only half of my normal salary as I am on short-term disability) struggles to pay our bills, buy groceries, and take care of our kids. Money will be used for utility bills and medical bills. For anyone who is willing and able, your help is so greatly appreciated. It was not easy writing this or asking for help, and those that want to judge can judge, but I just want to help my family. Thank you for reading, sharing, and/or helping.
