As many of you know, Jennifer was diagnosed on October 24, 2014 with stage 4 pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer & tumors. She has fought hard to stay with us ever since as the cancer began to move to other parts of her body. Her husband, Ahmed and her daughter, Layla(who is now 5 years old), played a huge part in the warrior Jenn became throughout these years.
Jennifer’s favorite things were doing anything with her husband and daughter, spending time with family and friends, faith, going to church, dancing, cooking, eating, music, massage therapy, being outside by her pool w her family and dog Zeus, going down the shore, riding the motorcycle with Ahmed, hosting parties(playing LRC), and anything else that made her soul feel good.
Throughout this process, Jenn showed courage, strength, and still had empathy for others whose situations were sometimes miniscule compared to her own. Her encouraging words could make you feel like you could do anything and everything. A woman who was fighting for her life, still having the heart to be there for her loved ones whenever they hit their own bumps.
On Sunday, February 23, Jennifer put down her shield and sword and joined her mother, Marietta, in heaven. Jenn is survived by her Father, Husband, Daughter, Brothers & Sister-in laws, nieces & nephews, brother-in-law, cousins, and many friends who have been by her side. Ahmed and Layla, have Jennifer looking out for them forever, along with the army of people who have prayed and supported their family throughout this journey. She will be missed immensely by every life she touched.
Everything raised will go to hospital bills & funeral costs. Anything left over will go to Layla’s college savings and a portion will be donated to the Seimei community. Which is a energy-healing technique that helped Jenn throughout her fight.
