Jennifer Zimmerman's Ovarian Cancer Fund

Jennifer is only 50 years old and has had her world rocked with a diagnosis of stage IV ovarian cancer. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Jennifer has spent all of her working years in the healthcare field and has touched many lives in this line of work. She loves spending time with her young grandchildren, taking care of her chickens, and antiquing with her friends in her free time. Jennifer does not like having to ask others for help, and rarely ever does. She has been a blessing in the lives of many, and now is our chance to be a blessing to her as well.

Thank you so much for sharing positive and uplifting words of encouragement! Please continue posting them here for her to see. Jennifer finished her first round of chemo Tuesday. We are praying for strength over the next several weeks as this can be the most difficult for her physically. It is of upmost importance for her to be as strong as possible in order to become a candidate for surgery following her chemo treatments. Please continue to keep her in your prayers, they are being felt and we know how important they truly are.

While being given a cancer diagnosis is devastating in itself, the stress of it all has been compacted with the fact that insurance is being difficult and has not covered any of Jennifer's medical expenses thus far. Therefore, all test, labs, procedures, medications, etc. have had to be paid for upfront and out of pocket. As everyone knows, these expenses pile up very quickly.

We have had many people reach out and ask how to bless Jennifer even more. A Venmo account and a GoFundMe page, specifically for the family's out-of-pocket and upfront medical expenses, have both been put in place.
