Jennifer Worden Recovery Fund

Jenn Worden is a lifetime resident of this area (Limington, Buxton, Hollis, Standish) a bus driver for MSAD6 for as long as I can remember, and a lifelong friend to many of you.

Last night Jenn suffered a medical episode. Jenn had a stroke.

Rushed by ambulance to MMC, she was found to have a blood clot in her brain. She underwent emergency surgery late last night.

She came through the surgery like the trooper she has always been.

She now faces her road to recovery. Her ability to articulate her speech as she would like, is affected, as is some of her comprehension of commands.

Although we are with the greatest hope that these difficulties will resolve themselves in the next few weeks, she has a journey in front of her.

Jenn is too proud to ever ask for help, but we are asking for her.

She is expected to continue her hospitalization a little bit longer before being transferred to a rehab facility.

There will be ongoing medical expenses and at this time, unknown when she will be able to return to work.

We have every confidence that she will recover like a rockstar....but she will need our help so that she may concentrate on her recovery without worrying about the financial aspect at this time.
