Our friend and co-worker, Jen Tickle, has recently been diagnosed with glioblastoma, which is a fast growing brain tumor. Jen is currently receiving care at UVA and her medical team has sadly informed Jen and her family that the cancer is inoperable. 

We are all heartbroken to learn of this news and we know that everyone wants to do something to help Jen and her family. Jen has always been a thoughtful and caring co-worker and nurse who has brought a warmth to our office that is greatly missed. She is also a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and aunt. She loves owls and is passionate about her Boston Terrier fur-babies.

Her co-workers at Sentara Martha Jefferson Orthopedics recently got together and decided that one of the best ways that we could help Jen and her family would be to try to raise funds to help cover the cost of medical expenses, transportation, and food. We know that many needs are not yet known, so we are starting with a goal of $10,000, and we would greatly appreciate any donation, big or small, and we ask that you keep Jen and her family in your thoughts and prayers.❤️
