Jennifer The Conqueror's Trials and Triumphs

Hi, my name is Erin and I am working to help my dear friend for life, Jennifer, overcome and triumph once more over cancer. This sweet, hard-working, hilarious and gentle soul has had 3 different kinds of cancer, causing numerous health issues that included hearing loss and a mid-thigh amputation all by the age of 40. Now a single working mom, Jen began her cancer battle 17 years ago this month when she was diagnosed with breast cancer the day before giving birth to her son. Having fought and won that battle, 6 years later she was diagnosed with a new cancer, osteosarcoma, that cost her hearing and her mobility as she lost one leg at mid-thigh to the disease. Having knocked that as out of the park, nearly 7 years later she had a recurrence/metastasis of the osteosarcoma, and a "bonus" of a third (new!) type of cancer that had already metastasized a bit- adenocarcinoma, a type of non-small cell lung cancer. Cut to 4.5 years later this month, when they just discovered Jen has a brain tumor in need of surgical removal. This woman has had more medical trauma and "survival mode" living than anyone should ever have to endure.
