Jennifer Tappenden's Care and Recovery

Donation protected
On the night of Wednesday, December 29th, Jennifer Tappenden called 911 while  experiencing severe head pain and vomiting; she was taken by ambulance to Saint Louis University Hospital. During a CT scan, the doctors found a brain bleed. Jen was released from the rehab hospital on January 27th and is now home recovering from the injuries to her brain and the dramatic measures needed to treat them.

Many of us are struggling to find ways to be of service to Jen and her family. Her community has turned out with messages of support and care, hospital visitations, family airport rides, and more. We don't know how Jen's medical situation will unfold, but we can be sure that there will be medical expenses. With Jen's immediate family living in New York and aching to be with her during this time, there will be travel costs as well.

We can love Jennifer and her family through this time in a variety of ways; if giving financially is a way that feels right to you, please make your gift here.
