Sarah Beth Jackson

It saddens me to share that our fellow Sister Elk, Sarah Beth Jackson, tragically and unexpectedly lost her mother, Jennifer Barker, last Friday, September 1st, 2023. Jennifer was a native of Salem and leaves behind her three kids; Adam, Sarah Beth and William; plus, two grandchildren, Taylor and Brooke. Jennifer worked at the United Postal Service for 25+ years before retiring and spent her days of retirement having weekly lunches with close friends and watching her granddaughter Taylor play soccer. Sarah Beth and her mom spent each Thanksgiving and Christmas together as Sarah Beth would cook and host for her, allowing her a chance to relax and spend time with Taylor and Brooke.

Unfortunately, Jennifer didn't obtain life insurance and this burden has been left to Sarah Beth to manage funeral arrangements, estate expenses and the upkeep of Jennifer's home in Salem. I have started this Go Fund Me because we have a fellow Elk in need of our support. Not just financially, but with prayers, hugs, and a healing heart.

Sarah Beth is planning a private graveside service followed by a celebration of life for Jennifer at the Lodge, September 15th at 4pm. Please stop in and embrace Sarah Beth with love and support from fellow elks.
