Friends, skaters, refs, family, and human beings, we need your help! Many of you know Jennifer Jones as Shorty DuWop- our talented former Head Referee of River City Roller Derby. She is a skilled skater and wonderful person. 

You may not know that she has been in the hospital multiple times since May of last year, due to her kidney transplant failing. She is in desperate need of a live kidney donor.  She is undergoing dialysis and will continue for quite some time.

As you can imagine, medical expenses pile up very quickly. 

Please give anything that you can spare so we can show our support. Jennifer (Shorty) has used her experiences to create a platform to empower others and develop a resilient mindset. Let's show her that we SEE her and her impact on others and let's lift her up in return.

Jennifer is O+, which is the best match, but for those who aren’t her blood type there is an option for something called a kidney paired exchange program, in which an individual can donate their kidney to someone who is a match on her behalf and she’ll receive one in return.
