Jennifer Powers-Mosher Memorial Fund

I set up this memorial fund in my sister’s name for my wonderful, talented nieces! These two young ladies suffered the loss of their father when they were 9 and 11 and now, just as they begin their young adult lives and continuing educations, are enduring the loss of their mother.
In the mist of COVID19, Jennifer Powers-Mosher, 51-years young, passed away suddenly at 5pm on April 2, 2020 at McLaren Lapeer Hospital. Because of the restrictions, we could not be with her. We were only able to say our goodbyes over the phone. I am thankful she had the chance to tell her girls she loved them “more," and other family members too. I am heartbroken that she died alone. No one should have to go through that!
Despite the numerous tragedies she experienced, Jen leaves many friends and family with wonderful memories that we cherish!
My goal with this memorial fund is to help her daughters continue in their education. Taylor, Jen’s oldest, is in the middle of nursing school in Kalamazoo and works at Bronson hospital. And Hannah works at Kroger and will be attending community college this spring. Jennifer was so proud of her girls and loved them beyond measure!
I know Covid-19 has created challenges for everyone. It has impacted lives and bank accounts in ways we have yet to fully comprehend. For most of us, we will be able to recover from our financial loss and rebuild. However, these two beautiful girls will never have their parents back. They cannot fix that...EVER. They are left to find a way to muddle through and find a way to make it happen on their own. But, we don't have to let them do it alone! Please help me raise these girls' spirits up and give them hope of a better tomorrow!
