Jennifer Kravetz's Brain Surgery

My best friend, Jennifer Kravetz, a.k.a. Poofee, has just found out she has a meningioma the size of a grapefruit. A meningioma is a tumor that arises from a layer of tissue (the meninges) that covers the brain and spine. Meningiomas grow on the surface of the brain (or spinal cord), and therefore push the brain away rather than growing from within it. She just had an appointment with the neurosurgeon, and the only way it can be removed is through surgery.
Since Jennifer does not have health insurance, her and her fiancé will have to pay an estimated $50,000 up front. Please, if you can spare anything to help them, it would be tremendously appreciated!
