Our beautiful friend, Jen Giannuzzi, is facing a challenge like nothing before. In July, Jen was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer.
Jen has endured five long years of discomfort from her bilateral mastectomy, oral chemo medication, radiation and reconstructive surgeries. 30% of patients diagnosed with an earlier stage of breast cancer will experience metastasis and progress to stage IV. It could be months or even decades later, even with completing appropriate early-stage treatment. In April, she had a routine chest x-ray which showed no cancer, but by July, she had a mass the size of a tennis ball in her left lung. Shortly after, they discovered cancer lesions in her chest, bones, liver, and other areas.
Jen now faces endless cycles of scans, biopsies, lab work, and doctor’s visits. Treatments, side effects and the disease itself prevent her from working and daily activities. Please join us to help support Jen financially and ease the strain.
