Hi, my name is Krista. I’m a daughter, a mom, and someone who deeply believes in showing up for the people you love — especially when life takes an unexpected turn.

I’m starting this GoFundMe for Jennifer, my dad’s partner and a deeply loved part of our family. She isn’t just someone in my dad’s life — she has become a steady, loving presence for all of us, especially our boys, who adore her.

Jennifer has been diagnosed with stage 4 endometrial cancer that has spread to other parts of her body. This diagnosis has been devastating for our family. After meeting with doctors and understanding the prognosis, she has made the incredibly brave decision to focus on quality of life rather than aggressive treatments.

Instead of spending her remaining time in and out of hospitals, she wants to spend it living — traveling, making memories, and soaking up every possible moment with the people she loves.

Cancer doesn’t just take a physical toll — it brings emotional and financial burdens as well. Between medical expenses and the reality of stepping away from work, the weight adds up quickly. Our hope in raising these funds is to relieve some of that stress so she can focus on what truly matters right now: peace, joy, and meaningful experiences.
