Jennifer's Operation Christmas Child Tanzania Trip

I’m very excited that June 5th-12th I will be traveling to Arusha, Tanzania to participate in an Operation Christmas Child (OCC) vision trip. I have served as a year-round OCC volunteer for 6 years. For the last 2 years I’ve served as an Area Coordinator, and this summer for one week my role will take me halfway around the world!
The trip schedule includes five outreach events where shoebox gifts will be distributed to children, one class lesson or graduation celebration for The Greatest Journey (TGJ) discipleship program, as well as presentations and training sessions. I will have an opportunity to visit churches and schools to experience first-hand the joy that shoebox gifts bring children, paired with the eternal hope of the Gospel message presented in a culturally appropriate manner by local Ministry Partners. I intend to use this trip to enrich my role with OCC and return with a testimony of how God is working in Tanzania.
My cost for the trip is $3,500, which covers airfare, lodging, meals, and ground transportation. Contributions toward this trip are not tax deductible. If you are able to financially support my trip, I would be very grateful. I am responsible for making a final payment to Samaritan’s Purse by May 5, 2019.
