Jennifer Eckman's Memorial

Jennifer Renae “Jenny” Eckman age 46 of Sturgis, Michigan passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at her home.

She was born October 30, 1974 in Elkhart, Indiana daughter of Stanley and Betty (Parker) Doty.

Jenny was a lifelong Sturgis area resident and a graduate of Centreville High School with the class of 1993.

She owned and operated her own business cleaning homes.

Jenny was an active member of the Fish Lake Bible Church in Sturgis. She was happiest when she was helping others and surrounded by her family especially her two grandsons.

Jenny is survived by her husband: Robert Eckman; two daughters: Carley Stuart and Courtney (Christian) Stuart; one son: Boe Eckman; grandsons: Benjamin and Noah; her parents: Stanley and Jennifer Doty and Betty and Ken Summey; one sister: Juli Eicher (Lamar); one brother: Jeremy Doty and nieces: Demi and Erica; two step-sisters: Virginia (Rob) Adams and Joy (Frank) Palmer and one step-brother: Kenny (Lucy) Summey.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating and honoring the life of Jennifer Renae Eckman was held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, July 16th at the Fish Lake Bible Church in Sturgis. Pastors Tim Brondyke and Tim Stover officiated.

All fundraising proceeds will go toward covering the cost of memorial services, her three children Courtney, Carley, and Boe and her grandchildren Benjamin and Noah.
