Dear Friends: 

Our beloved friend Jennifer, mother of two amazing girls, Kimberly and Allison, and wife to husband Jim, has recently been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.  This revelation came without warning and following an event while she was at work a few weeks ago.  Jennifer has an amazing team of doctors at UCI and a plan in place to shrink the tumor via radiation and chemotherapy.  The road ahead is long and she will be unable to get back to work any time soon.  As a result, we are looking to help the Duck family bridge the gap between her loss of income and new expenses that fall outside of her insurance.  This is where you can help!  

For those of us who have known Jennifer for years or those who have just come to work or partner with her recently, you know that she is an extremely talented, dedicated woman who is strong in her faith, kind to all and a joy to be around.  It is hard to understand why some come to experience such life changing events and challenges.  Jennifer is someone who has given so much of herself to so many, and now is the time for her to receive the love and support from all of us. 

At this time, we are asking everyone we know to help where we can via your time, talent and/or donations to ensure that her road to recovery is as smooth as possible.  The goal is to make sure that this incredible lady is able to get back to a normal life without the pressure of heavy debt being added along the way.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers.  This affects the entire family, so please keep Jennifer, her daughters, and husband in your thoughts and prayers as they battle this condition, together.  Please pray for her team of doctors and nurses, as well.  Words cannot express how all of this support helps someone on this journey.
