Jennifer Culberts Cancer Journey

Last Thursday December 14th after several weeks of waiting this Beautiful lady got the news we all were hoping not to hear. This has been an ongoing fight for her the last 13 years. While many of the past check ups have been clean and clear it seems life has thrown her and her husband Doug Culbert a major curve ball. Join me in helping provide a little financial relief for them on this Journey to once again face Cancer head on. Below is the text I didn't want to receive and I hope all of you never will. Here's the news...

I have active cancer in my sternum bone, the L1 spine and the Pubic Bone (where they took the biopsy). It seems to be slow moving, good news. Bad news the biopsy showed that my cancer has changed to Triple Negative Breast Cancer, this can happen in about 20% of Breast Cancer patients. Triple Negative BC is typically aggressive. My doctor is having them retest the biopsy to see if the process in which they test it may have gave a false reading. They will have that done in the next week and then she will go to the tumor board to decide the best coarse of treatment. She is also ordering a brain MRI, because Triple Negative BC will go to the brain typically. She is also ordering a PET scan where the look for Estrogen, if they see no Estrogen that will confirm I have Triple Negative if they see Estrogen then if probably means I still have the same BC as before. So more waiting to find out what is happening. With Triple Negative I will need chemo again. If it’s the same then they will just change my treatment. I wish I had answers now but now we just have more questions. I love you all and I’m thankful for all your support.
