**UPDATE FROM JAIME**

Jennifer continues to make small improvements in the right direction. She has been taken off of all sedation medications and they are letting her wake up on her own. She will remain intubated until that time. They continue to work towards weening her off the nitrogen/oxygen machine, have reduced her down to one antibiotic, and she is maintaining her blood pressure and HR on her own. She will be receiving dialysis every other day to improve her kidney function and assist with clearing her body of toxins.  They also believe the dialysis will help with flushing out the remainder of the sedation medications in her system since her liver and kidneys have difficulty doing that on their own right now. As soon as they ween her off the nitrogen mix completely they would like to do an MRI scan of the brain just to make sure all is in order, and of the gallbladder since they did notice some inflammation.  Please continue the prayers, God can feel them and we know Jen can too! Dave sent me this verse today and I would like to share it with all of you because it applies to where we are at on so many levels, as we celebrate the progress we continue to see.  

Exodus 14:14 "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

As many of you know, Jennifer has been battling COVID-19 in the hospital since Sept 17. On October 2, Jen’s status worsened and she was placed on a ventilator in the middle of the night. She is still fighting but she has a long battle in front of her.

She is an incredible mother of 4 and wife to an amazing man. She is the best wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, advocate, coach, and human that you will ever know. She is selfless and always putting others and their physical emotional and spiritual health first. After helping so many others, now she and her family are in need our help.

ICU bills are mounting, four kids are missing their mama, and we want to take a tiny bit of stress off of them.
