Dear friends and family,
By now most of you know that Jennie has been hospitalized and diagnosed with vasculitis with accompanying pneumonia. She is currently in critical care in ICU in an induced coma. Jennie is still on a ventilator and had a tracheostomy performed yesterday. Jennie’s fight is far from over and as her friends we decided to start this go fund me page for her and her family. Especially now during the holidays, we all need to come together to help ease the financial burden of the unforeseen medical expenses and loss of time/pay from work.
Jennie is a loving wife to Kelly, fantastic mother to her children, Mandy (5), Emma (4), Wyatt (3 months) and Carson (10) and a loving daughter to Susie & Mark.
Because Jennie has such a strong faith in God, she would ask for prayers at this time to help her get back to her loving family…especially her young children that need her. Jennie is the nucleus to the family and they ALL need her.
We appreciate any amount of a monetary gift you are able to extend to the Sullivan Family. As they move forward during this fight we ask for you for continuous PRAYERS. Jennie has always relied on Jesus Christ and remained faithful to him in her words and actions on a daily basis.
On November 29, Jennie posted a status on FB prior to knowing her diagnosis asking for prayers. She felt helpless and wanted to share this:
So, for someone who doesnt have a medical history and has never been hospitalized, except to bring 3 beautiful babies into this world...I am at a loss of words and lately can only find tears and prayers. After my 5th trip to the ER and still no answers, I find myslef heading into the hands of specialists this week to lay my questions on someone else. For the past 4 weeks, I have been having severe leg pain as if I just finished 4 hours of weightlifting (not happending), they feel like contiuous charlie horses and are rock hard. I've been diagnosed with plantar fascitis, then cellulitis, which led to leukosytosis & rhambolysis (go figure). Come to find, even after being hydrated, my levels are off. I am vitamin & iron decifficient, supposedly from my pregnacy with Wyatt, and now praying supplements (and alphapbet soup-get it? that was me being funny) will work. My fear is the pain in my legs and majority of my joints, there's been no progression and its stagnant, just moves from place to place. Not to mention the shortness of breath and palpitations b/c of my hemoglobin being low. Dr's seem to think the pregnancy awoke an auto immune disorder, such as Rheumatiod Arthritis...and one antibiotic conteracted with my rosacea meds...WTH?!?! Not even sure if that's the case. To say I am scared is an understatment! I know I serve a mighty and merciful God, butI'm starting to think this is a little more than I can handle... I am heartbroken. I miss being me for my kids and they are what is keeping me going. I am putting this out there because I need your prayers...please!!! Thanks guys!
