Jennie's Journey from Abandonment to Hope

My name is Jennie. I have been married for 30 years. My husband abandoned me not only emotionally but financially. He had been moving OUR marital assets into secret bank accounts without my knowledge, and hiding and stashing cash. He has cut me off all marital accounts. I had a medical emergency last year and was left temporarily disabled and unable to work. That is when he started separating our marital assets without me being aware of it. I have about $20K in medical debt I am unable to pay. He recently cut me off our business paycheck, which was $11/hr, and my medical insurance is now gone. I am in between jobs. I have no gas money, grocery money, and much less I can't pay my credit card bills and medical bills. I am totally being controlled by money. And I cannot afford to hire an attorney to help me. I spent $400 for a consulting fee to an attorney that needed a $5000 retainer fee I don't have. I have never been in need more in my life. I am indigent at the moment and just about homeless. I never ask for help for myself until now. I have always raised money to help others and animals. I love animals and run a charity non-profit organization, and I have never taken a penny of that money for myself. This time, it's me that needs help, and I pray that if you pray about me, you will find it in your heart to help a person in dire financial need.
