NOTE: Jennie does NOT know that her friends Tilly, Madeline, and Lauren have started this fundraiser and we'd like to keep it a surprise at first, while it's getting started. Please discretely pass the word along to anyone who may be willing to support the campaign--thank you!
Nearly 2 weeks ago, Jennie had a terrible accident while hiking when she lost her footing and fell a significant ways down a mountain. Our girl was so brave, despite serious injuries, severe shock, and multiple broken bones. Stranded and without service, a small group of hikers found her and her friend, and thankfully, they were able to make the call for help.
After hours on the mountain side, an army helicopter was able to reach her and bring her to the hospital. It's a miracle she did not suffer any head trauma and we are so thankful that the hospital was able to stabilize her. She's now working with doctors and will soon be consulting specialists to get the care that she needs.
The road to recovery is not going to be easy, but Jennie's community knows she's a fighter. Jennie has been battling chronic health issues for years and has been on a medical leave of absence from work for over a year now. With her new and existing healthcare expenses, on top of the cost of living, AND the additional financial stress she's experienced from the pandemic, we're asking her friends and loved ones for any financial resources they can offer her in this time of need.
Jennie is a light to everyone who's had the pleasure of meeting her. She's bravely keeping her spirit up and is navigating this trauma with grace and composure, better than anyone could imagine. We love her to the moon and back and want to help her best as we can!
With your help we can exceed our goal and offset a modest fraction of her healthcare and living expenses. Thank you in advance for supporting Jennie's Emergency Fund.
