I’m very pleased to announce we met our original goal for Jenni!

I thought it would be important to share what we know so far and how your donations are helping.

Jenni has been diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, while this can be a slow growing cancer, she discovered the variety she has can present as a little more aggressive. She’ll be getting a bone marrow harvest, a round of chemo (about 4 weeks) and then she’ll get what’s called an autologous transplant, meaning she’ll get her own marrow back but all sparkly and cleaned up.

Jenni is a single mom with a very small direct support system. She’s a massage therapist which unfortunately doesn’t come with benefits. Donations are intended to keep her afloat while she goes through the hurdles that come with treatment. They’ll help her through recovery and isolation and help offset costs while she’s healing. They’ll offer her some stability and reduce some of the financial burdens while she navigates this difficulty.
