Healing for Jenn & Roman

Jenn and Roman have tried to get pregnant for a couple of years, so it was with great excitement and gratitude that they discovered in late 2016 that they were pregnant with identical twin girls.  They felt so blessed that their dream was coming true.  As the babies grew inside Jenn's belly, those of us that know and love them felt relieved that they had made it to the point where the babies were viable.  They were at 30 weeks!  What happened next is every parent's worst nightmare. 

At a routine check-up the doctor could not find the heartbeats.   After being rushed to the hospital they discovered that a tragic accident with the umbilical cord had stolen the lives of their precious daughters.  With great bravery Jenn went through labor and delivered their angel babies Avery and Braelynn after midnight on 5/10/17.   They were laid to rest in a beautiful ceremony on 5/21/17; their tiny coffins laid in a plot next to their grandfather, which happened to be on the anniversary of his death.  

Now it is time for Jenn and Roman to rebuild their lives and look to the future.  While none of us who love them can change what has happened, we can help Jenn and Roman heal.  Their plans for healing include a much needed get-away to recuperate and recover.  If you would like to do something for this lovely couple, please consider donating funds to make their healing trip as restorative as possible.  They are still in the planning phase, so these funds will make a difference for where they are able to go, how long they go, etc.  Any size donation is welcome.
