Help for Jenna

Jenna, my daughter, was diagnosed with bone cancer (Osteosarcoma) last summer.  The tumor was in her upper right arm.  She went through 2 months of chemo, then surgery to remove the tumor, then another 4 months of chemo.  Her last scans show that it has spread to her lungs and her right lymph node.  Which is currently causing her right arm to swell and be in constant pain.  She is on pain meds around the clock and requires 24-hour care.  The prognosis for Osteosarcoma isn’t good once it spreads.  The survival for this disease, once spread, is 20% if less than 2 nodules in the lungs.  Jenna has 20-22.  We have, and will continue to do, whatever it takes to save her life!  Miracles happen everyday.

Jenna is one strong little girl!  I envy her outlook and optimism!  When we told her she would lose her hair.  She said “Good, I don’t have to brush it anymore.”  When she learned she wouldn’t have much use of her right arm.  She said, “Well at least the tumor was in my right arm because I’m left handed.”  She’s small but has taught me a thing or two!

Any help is greatly appreciated!  Even if you can’t help monetarily, you can help by sharing this story.  I will update when I can.  Thank you again!!
