Jenna's Memorial to the World

We lost our beloved Jenna Maria Therese Winters on August 9, 2020 at the young age of 32. She died in her sleep, and the cause of her sudden passing is still being investigated. Anyone who knew Jenna knew that she was a force of nature; like the wind: playful, wild and impossible to contain. Jenna was vivacious, talented, personable and witty. She was such a beautiful woman, in every way. She faced many struggles in her short life, but she tried to confront every challenge with courage and strength.
We have made this page to raise money to build a well in an underprivileged country in Jenna's name. The cost of a well is approximately £450/$590 (Ummah Welfare Trust). The well will have a plaque with Jenna's name on it and will provide a source of clean water for those in need. Some of those who use the well are likely to pray for Jenna when seeing her name. We, as a family, find solace in that thought as we are firm believers in the power of prayer. We would also like to plant two olive trees in Palestine which would cost £20/$27 (Human Appeal). The olives from the trees will provide a family with food and/or income and the trees will provide shelter from rain and sun as well as oxygen for the environment. Jenna worked very hard to provide for her family and contributing to such projects will be her way of continuing to help others.
If there is any further money left, we would like to arrange singing lessons for Jenna's daughter Lily who has been gifted with a beautiful voice like her mother. Unfortunately, Jenna could not pursue her dream of being a singer but her legacy lives on in Lily.

Jenna's son Caleb loves football and we would arrange for him to take part in an organised team/club. Both singing and sports are very therapeutic as well and will hopefully help the children in grieving for their mother. Lastly, if there are funds remaining, we would use it to support our mother in any financial difficulty she may experience in caring for Jenna's children.
Please do not feel any pressure to give; we know that things are very difficult financially for many people. However, we wanted to ensure that everyone who knew and loved Jenna was included in this fundraiser. Most importantly are your prayers.
We pray that Jenna is with God and at peace. We pray for those who have lost part of our hearts in her departure from this world. Please pray especially for Jenna's mother, Martha Winters, who has had to face the most difficult of tests in losing a child. Please keep Jenna's children Lily and Caleb in your prayers, that they are able to keep their mother's memory alive as they journey through life's ups and downs. Amen/Ameen.
