Help Jenna through recovery after 8 surgeries

Donation protected
My best friend's daughter, Jenna, has had EIGHT surgeries on her legs. While practicing for a competition in 2015, she landed a jump but immediately went down on the ice. She had surgery to get her ligament replaced and her knee cap repaired. This was when she was diagnosed with MISERABLE MALALIGNMENT SYNDROME, an abnormal rotation and alignment of the hip socket, femur, and tibia.

After the first surgery, Jenna had severe allergic reactions to absorbable/dissolvable screws and stitches. As a result of the complications, 3 more procedures were required on her left knee.
In 2017, Jenna went on to Kent State University to obtain a degree in nursing.

While still at KSU, she started to experience extreme pain on her right side. Two orthopedic doctors told her she needed hip surgery, which she underwent in 2020. The procedure was a PAO of the right hip and a labral repair; this was a result of the MMS. After the hip surgery, Jenna suffered a pulmonary embolism and was admitted to the ICU for a week.
She ended up graduating on time with honors from KSU in 2021.
Jenna then began her life in Pittsburgh, working full-time as a Registered Nurse.

In July of 2021, the pain came back even worse; her doctors decided that she needed to have proximal femoral and tibia rotational osteotomies (cutting the bone to realign) on the right side. Four months after surgery, Jenna went back to work. In 2022 Jenna started having issues with the hardware from the previous surgery, so severe that it required hardware removal. Jenna quit her job in Pittsburgh and had lined up a position to start in August 2022 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.

While in physical therapy a few weeks after surgery, she heard a pop, thinking she had pulled a muscle, but the pain got worse as the week went on. Her surgeon sent her to the ER to get X-rays. They did not find any fractures. When it still did not improve, the surgeon had her get an MRI in Michigan, and she was awaiting the results.

Jenna was in her new apartment for the second day when she was heading to bed up the stairs when she thought the stair under her had collapsed, but immediately realized it was her leg. 911 was called, and EMS gave her morphine to realign her leg and take her to Riverside Methodist Hospital by ambulance. Surgeons believe where a screw was, is where a hairline fracture started and then just gave way while going upstairs, causing her femur to snap in half. A surgeon in Columbus performed emergency surgery by placing a rod down her femur. She is now facing a very long recovery, unable to start her new job.

Jenna has an apartment she has to pay rent for in Columbus, yet she is back with Mom and Dad in Findlay for recovery. She also has a car payment, insurance, student loans, and medical bills. She is enrolled in Doctor of Nursing Practice-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh; Jenna needs all the financial help she can get. Unfortunately, she will probably need the left leg rotated also. She is physically, emotionally and financially drained and needs some sort of miracle. Any help and prayers would help her a great deal!
