My name is Jenna and next semester I will be a senior at Paul Smith's College (PSC) studying Fisheries & Wildlife Conservation. I have been presented the once in a lifetime opportunity to enroll in a class next fall about the geology, biodiversity, and human dimensions of the Galapagos, which includes a class trip at the end of December!
While at PSC I have taken advantage of every opportunity to immerse myself with clubs (Wildlife Society, American Fisheries Society, FFA, Pickleball, NSLS), on-campus employment (the VIC, Peer Tutor of several courses, and Peer Mentor), along with being a Resident Assistant of freshman for the last two years. As a freshman I promised myself I would eventually do a class-trip course to learn and explore the world a bit before graduating, and now is the perfect opportunity!
My educational journey is a completely self-funded one and I have worked hard in the years leading up to college and through college to pay off my bills bit by bit. The additional course fees and expenses for the Galapagos trip adds a substantial amount to my fall PSC bill. I am building this GoFundMe in an attempt to ease the financial burden the course adds to my already extremely full plate. I am grateful for any and all assistance you may share in funding my educational journey!
