Jenna Bolle's Battle with Cancer

In late August, at just 36 years old, Jenna Bolle was hospitalized for debilitating back pain. After multiple tests and scans, she was diagnosed with Small Cell Carcinoma, a very aggressive form of lung cancer. The doctors discovered that it had already spread to her liver, lymph nodes and spine. Once admitted to the hospital, Jenna started radiation and chemotherapy. After almost a month-long hospital stay, she was able to go home with her family. Since she’s been home, she's had multiple follow-ups, medication adjustments, and another round of chemo. She has been off work since the beginning of August. As you can imagine, this has caused a strain on their financial situation. Her husband has also missed multiple work days and adjusted his schedule to help care for her.

If you don’t know Jenna personally, know that she is loved by everyone in her life. She is most loved by her partner of 9 years Ted, whom she married this past June, and by her stepkids, whom she adores. She loves spending time outdoors, snowboarding in the winter and kayaking in the summer. She is the life of the party, a hard worker and always willing to help her team when needed. Jenna and her husband purchased their first house together only a week before her diagnosis. They were planning on renovating it to make it into their dream home, which makes her prognosis even more heartbreaking.

On November 11th, 2022, we are hosting a benefit to help alleviate the financial strain of such a serious cancer diagnosis. We will be having a buffet-style dinner at Tapped on the Lakeshore in Manitowoc from 5 pm-9 pm. Besides a delicious meal, it will feature a bake sale, a 50/50, prizes and more. We will be asking for a $5 cover charge to cover the cost of the dinner. There is axe throwing at this venue (separate cost), along with shuffleboards, darts, and more to keep everyone entertained all night! People of all ages are welcome to come out to show their support and the event will be open to the public. For those unable to attend the event, we have created this Go Fund Me as another way for people to help the Bolle family.
