Chipping in for Jen

Two days before her 28th birthday, our friend Jenna was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Jenna and Dan had to make the quick decision to leave behind their lives in Katherine, Northern Territory and relocate back to Armidale to access the healthcare that Jenna needed. Since November Jenna has undergone multiple surgeries, fertility treatments and now faces 6 months of chemotherapy and radiation. We are very lucky that Jenna’s cancer is treatable, and she will be ok, although life will look a little different.

While Jenna is very lucky to be supported by her and Dan’s family and by many fantastic organisations, her community is finding ways to give them and their families one less thing to worry about. We would love to help purchase Jenna a wig, contribute towards their living expenses, their lost incomes,and the inevitable expenses that are continuing to unexpectedly pop up - all of which have been complicated by their having to move away from their base in Katherine.

Supporting Jen and Dan, now will mean that they are able to still spend their savings on their dream wedding and honeymoon travels in early 2026, when Jenna has recovered from treatment.
