Jenn on her journey with cancer treatment
Donation protected
I have known both Jenn & Gabriel for decades, I could have never predicted the large family life that they live now. Jenn, an AMAZING PERSON, has breast cancer. Here is her story.
“Hi, Friends,
I'm sad to report after months of going to our small clinic with breastfeeding issues and being misdiagnosed repeatedly I've found out I have Stage 3 Breast Cancer (ER+ PR+ Her2-) that's spread into my lymph nodes. I wish this were a bad joke. I thought 8 years of breastfeeding would have provided me with a little grace in this area. I thought the practitioners I saw would know what was happening with my body.
People are asking how they can help.
Please pray for our family, the doctors treating me, and the small army of volunteers it will take to get us through this. My days before my cancer diagnosis were busy, this new journey will be a new level of activity. I've been recently accepted into a research study in Rochester, MN which will increase travel but could be a life-saving treatment. Rochester, MN is two hours away from our Eau Claire, Wisconsin home.
We are a single-income home with many adorable and growing dependents.
We have been blessed with 8 kids under the age of 9. Eleanor, age 8. Maggie, age 7. Francie, age 6. Oscar, age 4. August (Gus) & Lydia, both 2 1/2. Bernadette & Louisa both 1. I'm hoping my husband won't have to take too much time off of work but chemotherapy and radiation are expected and will be challenging.
Treatment will increase our expenses and decrease our income. There is also an account at Northwestern Bank in West Central Wisconsin if you’d like to contribute there. You can mail or drop off checks at any Northwestern Bank location to the "Benefit of Jenn Kilmurray." If you have messaged me about this, please forgive me. I have my hands full right now and I'm trying to get back to people individually but... My regular life plus new cancer appointments is a heavy load.
Also, I can’t stress enough the importance of getting a mammogram! Please advocate for your health!“
There is a PO Box if you prefer direct mailing.
